This biome benefits humans greatly. The majority of farming is also done in this biome as the soil is very nutritious.
Are there any hazards I should be worried about concerning temperate grasslands, both natural and human-caused?
Yes. This biome has constantly been under assault by humans, afflicted by overgrazing and urbanization, as well as by the over-hunting of its species, driving some to near extinction. Farming and plowing by humans have converted many of these once-beautiful habitats into farmland for human use and consumption, reinforcing the idea that preventative measures should be taken to protect them.
